In each course, participant will be introduced to the current treatment techniques for non-complicated cases of upper and lower extremity lymphedema using Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT)*, as well as evaluation, documentation and measurement techniques. Furthermore the therapist will be able to establish a treatment plan for individuals with primary or secondary extremity lymphedema and perform the treatment accordingly.
PLEASE NOTE: This course is not a certification course in CDT.
This course is 3.5 days in length (31 contact hours). The classroom hours are 8:00am – 6:00pm for the first 3 days and 8:00am - 12:00pm on the last day. There will be approximately one hour for lunch every day.
