Billing and Documentation for Patients with Lymphedema
This intensive one-day course is sponsored by the Academy of Lymphatic Studies and is designed to further the knowledge of therapists in appropriate billing and documentation modalities for patients with Lymphedema and Wound Care.

• Billing for Lymphedema and Wound Care Therapies • Documentation to match Billing for Lymphedema and Wound Care • Calculating minutes for Billing for Lymphedema and Wound Care in any setting • Justifying billable minutes for Lymphedema and Wound care in any setting • Appeals for insurance companies to receive reimbursement for Lymphedema and Wound care • Billing for compression garments through various insurances
Instructor
Dusty Fiester, MPT, CLT/CDT Instructor Dusty received her Masters in Physical Therapy in 2001 from the University of Evansville with academic honors. She was certified as a CLT by the Academy of Lymphatic Studies in 2003. Dusty has worked as a manager and staff physical therapist. She has experience in outpatient, inpatient, a hospital based SNF and home health care settings. In all settings, her passion is meeting the needs of those with lymphedema. She also presents guest lectures at her alma mater regarding lymphedema management.
Dates and Locations
This course will be held on October 2, 2010 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The class hours will be 8:00am until 5:00pm. There will be approximately one hour for lunch each day.
Tuition
The tuition for the Billing and Documentation for Patients with Lymphedema is $275. The full tuition amount is due upon registration.
